I love learning new things and here I am learning about this Baguette de Noël for the first time this christmas.
The actual loaf is not visible here (sorry) as I was concentrating on the ingredient list, and there were only a couple left, but they were smaller than the normal baguette and pretty to look at, made with blueberries, citron cubes (orange peel), sunflower seeds and corn flour.
Baguette de Noel . . . a regular baguette dressed up for Christmas with traditional fruit confit and a hit of succulent blueberries. Another reason to stock up on cheddar. To me the two together would be a marriage made in heaven!
