This is France so every food shop or supermarket will have its cheese counter . . . however my favourite place to buy cheese is still the little Fromagerie Léa in Goult. The quality, freshness and variety of cheese for me is the best. Plus the owner is always willing to share her knowledge and expertise with you which helps you to build up your own personal taste preferences. She also speaks English.

You can buy just one perfect little cheese, or the owner will help you to build the perfect cheese platter for special occasions, and give you tips on how to serve them at their very best.
I enjoy the fresh goat cheeses however the more stronger flavoured ones are always my go to ones. And the owner is encouraging me to widen my choice, helping me to explore others little by little. Though so far, this one with the rosemary on top is my favourite.
This cheese shop fromagerie also offers fresh eggs, artisanal pasta, and a host of little goodies for creating a nice apero spread.
She also offers fresh pasta with seasonal fillings like asparagus . . . the little fresh raviolis especially are particularly delicious.
