
My expectations of a delicious meal to follow, always goes off the richter scale the moment I am seated at a dining table, and simple plates or bowls of olive oil with a splash of balsamic vinegar are plonked in front of me. So why not try some extra virgin olive oil with a dash of artisanal Bals’Art Balsamic Vinegar made in Roussillon.
Mind you . . . These are not the kind of ingredients that you serve up bare and all alone unless of course they are top rate quality . . . it is to be hoped!
Fresh bread and an ice bucket with some really cold rosé or white wine and some great friends is usually all you need now for a good time.
